  • We use technical and administrative safeguards (encryption where supported, access controls, training). Records are kept as required by law and securely deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.

Telehealth notes

  • Telehealth has limits and may not replace in-person care for some cases. Sessions will not be recorded. The may be recorded only with consent or as permitted by law. You need a compatible device and internet connection.

  • You must be located in the state of New Mexico for treatment

  • Work/school excuses will be provided if deemed appropriate by your provider.

TERMS OF SERVICES

By accessing or using our virtual urgent care services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Services.

1. Telehealth Consent & Services

  • Virtual Care Limitations: You understand that our providers may not be able to treat all conditions via telehealth, and a physical exam is not possible.

  • In-Person Care: If our providers determine your condition requires in-person care, you will be advised to seek in-person medical care or emergency services.

  • Emergency Situations:NM Virtual Urgent Care is not for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, you agree to immediately call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

  • No Guarantees: While we strive to provide excellent care, we cannot guarantee specific medical results, treatment outcomes, or prescriptions.

2. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide truthful, complete, and accurate information regarding your medical history, symptoms, and location (state). Providing false information can lead to improper treatment and the termination of our services.

3. Privacy & HIPAA
Your personal health information (PHI) is protected under HIPAA and our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to the transmission of your medical data and images.

4. Payments and Insurance

  • Responsibility for Payment: You agree to pay for our services at the time of your visit.

Telehealth requires reliable internet and technology. We are not responsible for interrupted care due to technical failures.

6. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, including if a provider determines your condition is not suitable for telehealth.

7. Limitation of Liability
NM Virtual Urgent Care and its providers are not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of the site or services.

8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico.
